Dusty

The first thing that came to mind when I heard dusty was a dusty book but I thought that the concept of a dusty book was too cliché. So I expanded on the idea and figured that perhaps the concept of forgotten items of the past may be a better idea. So that's what I drew. I used a HB pencil and a 2H and 2B graphite pencil to cover parts and draw over sections. The word 'forgotten' is meant to look like it has been drawn in with a clean object to show the heavy dust covering the surface contrasting the two surfaces. The open book represents captured moments blank in polaroid form introducing the idea of past technology and no memory to be found. The little watch is meant to represent an also different era of this persona's life in where it may hold something special. No hands can be seen purposefully to also incorporate the meaning of forgotten with a layer of heavy dust on also.

Things to improve:
Define the picture more
Perhaps use photoshop to make 'forgotten' more outstanding
Scan it in rather than take a picture to create better quality
